Halloween 2008
Halloween came and went in a flash but it was fun regardless. When we moved to Athens in 2005 we started what has become a pumpkin carving tradition with Missy and Philip. This year we waited until the last possible moment and did not carve pumpkins until Wednesday night. Usually Wesley likes to pick a difficult design and spend a couple of hours carving. This year we went with a basic design and both pumpkins are very cute. I also dressed up this year. Nothing fancy but since we could dress up for work I figured I might as well. It added a little more fun to the day and we all know you have to do what you can to make the weekends come faster. On Saturday night we went to a local corn maze with Buffy and Adam. When you go at night you have to take flashlights and warm clothes. It took about an hour and a half to make it through.
I also wanted to show some pictures of our dog-sitting weekend. Friends of ours went to Atlanta for a night so Lucie and Lily hosted a spend the night party for Hank. He is a Boston Terrier puppy full of personality. He just plays and plays and plays and...well you get the point. Hank is not even a year old and since our girls are three and five he can wear them out fast, especially Lucie.
And the best news of all....we are now an Aunt and Uncle!!! Scott (Wesley's brother) and Courtney had beautiful baby Olivia Grace last week. A link to their page is on the left - ARMYbrat.
